A dream decades in the realization
The story of Air It begins in Slovakia, where the designer Štefan Klein and his team have been working in flying cars since the late 1980’s. After years of prototypes and more than 500 test flights, the air air is finally established for certification by the end of this year. Customer deliveries are scheduled for early 2026 and the company has even plans for an amphibia version that can land in the water.

From the road to the sky in a few minutes
So how does it work? The air looks like an elegant sports coupe on the road, with four wheels and a design that would fit right next to a luxury sedan. When you need to fly, just drive to a track, press a button and look as the wings develop and the tail extends. The transformation takes about 80 seconds, and no manual tinker is needed. Once the wings are blocked and the tail is in place, you are ready for takeoff. The steering wheel is transformed into a flight yoke and there are additional pedals for the control of the rudder. The controls are designed to be intuitive for pilots, so if you already have a private pilot license, you don’t have to learn anything new.

Performance that impresses
Under the bonnet, the air of production will offer three motor options, all the 3.2-liter V6 from the South African company Adept Airmotive. The base model offers 280 horses of power, while the upper version offers 340 horsepower with twin turbos. On the road, the air conditioning can reach a maximum speed of about 124 mph, and it is very much like a sports car. In the air, they cross 155 mph and can travel up to 620 kilometers on a single fuel tank.
The cabin is not budgeted, so the recommended ceiling is 10,000 feet, but it can increase with oxygen tanks. The aerate works with regular high octan gasoline and you can fill in most gas stations. In terms of size, it is approximately up to a S-Mercedes class and narrow enough to fit a standard parking site.

Which licenses do you need to drive and fly the air air?
To operate the air on the road, you will need a standard driver’s license, like any other car. If you want to take to the sky, you will also need a private pilot license. According to Klein Vision, the air air is designed so that if you already have a private pilot license, you don’t have to learn anything new to fly it. This means that owners will need driving and flight licenses, along with access to a track, to fully experience everything that the air can do.

Prices and for whom the air is
Air conditioning is expected to cost $ 800,000 and $ 1.2 million, which puts it in the same category as high -end supercars and small private aircraft. It is aimed at business travelers rich in mega, aerial taxi operators and anyone who wants to jump traffic and just fly.

How do you compare with other flying cars?
Unlike many flying vehicles projects that never go over the prototype stage, Aircar air approaches complete certification and production. It is also one of the few with four wheels, making it truly legal in most places. While other companies have spent hundreds of millions on similar ideas, Klein Vision has achieved it with a much smaller budget.

What is below? More seats and water landings
Klein Vision does not stop with a two -seater. The company already works in versions with three or four seats, and talk about an amphibian model that could land in the water. This would open even more chance of travel, such as jumping on the islands or reaching remote lakes.

Kurt’s Key Takeaways
It is wild to think that flying cars have been a dream for so long, and now the air conditioning is just about to make it real. This is a vehicle you could see on the road and the air soon enough. Of course, you will need a pilot license and a rather large budget, but the fact that it is even possible is quite surprising. Honestly, the idea that we could detect a car that goes to a track and then lift us in just a year or two is a bit of madness.
