Elon Musk’s criticism in “Big and Beautiful Bill” from Elon Republicans has left some GOP legislators frustrated with the technological billionaire.
“That is why Mr Musk does not take place in Congress,” a GOP legislator told Fox News, granted anonymity to speak freely, to Fox News Digital. “Wants to encode discretionary cuts. He did not find enough waste, frauds and abuse to fund [the Small Business Administration]And much less reduce our debt. ”
“It was a trick. It got used to it. He’s upset. He played the game, he got what he wanted, and then he ended up like everyone who approaches too much.”
The Chamber Republicans approved a broad bill last week advancing President Donald Trump’s agenda on prosecutor, immigration, defense and energy. Congressional Republicans hope to approve it through the process of budgetary reconciliation, a mechanism to approve fiscal law while resigning the 60 Senate votes and its minority votes.

Musk told “CBS Sunday morning” the legislation “diminishes the work” carried out by the Government Efficiency Department (DOGE).
He called it a “massive bill of expenses” that “increases the budget deficit”.
However, Republican supporters of the bill have argued that the type of expense cuts are looking for and the type of dog described, cannot be done through the reconciliation process. House spokesman Mike Johnson, R-La.
Reconciliation mainly deals with the funding of the obligatory government that Congress must change by modifying its own law, such as federal security network programs.
The White House is also planning to send a package of expenses cuts proposed to Congress next week, including the cuts described by DOGE, which aims to spend the discretionary government. Discretion expenditure refers to the cash flows that the Congress controls annually through the process of budget appropriations.
Other supporters of the bill, such as representative Nicole Malliotakis, RN.Y., said that their attention focused on people from outside the Musk wealth class.
“ The bill achieves the proper balance between the rooting of fraud to achieve savings and does not affect citizens who are based on government programs. The greatest winners for a change are not billionaires like the musc, but that middle class families see that most of the savings returned them in the form of real tax relief, ” Malliotakis told Fox News Digital News.

A second home Republican who requested the anonymity of speaking freely told Fox News Digital that Musk “worked a lot in Doo”, but argued that he was wrong in the facts.
“I mean, it would not be the first time I really had no process,” said the Chamber’s Republican. “So, you know, we really have to bake the budget reduction instead of reconciliation.”
Fox News Digital contacted the White House and Musk to comment through Tesla, but did not hear again.
On the other side of the GOP of the House Conference, the fiscal falcons that also had problems with the legislation met around Musk’s comments.
“I share Mr Musk’s worries about the short-term adverse effect on the federal deficit of the limited BBB expenses reductions. Debts markets are concerned about the U.S. total debt and the annual deficits,” said Andy Harris, president of Freedom Freedom Caucus, R-MD.
The Maryland Republican voted “present” on the Reconciliation Bill last week.

The representative Warren Davidson, R-Ohio, the republican house of the lonely house to vote against the bill, published in X, “We hope that the Senate will succeed where the chamber lost the moment. Don’t wait for someone to cut the expense someday, you know that this congress has been made.”
“Despite requests to step back and look at the sum of the past parts by 11 different committees, this bill rushed to the ground when it must have been fixed,” said Davidson.
Musk announced on Wednesday that he was moving away from his role in the federal government because his “intended time as a special government employee” came to an end. “
